Don't forget the Supreme Court's role facilitating ICE's brutality and racism in Minneapolis. SCOTUS lifted an injunction that limited racial profiling in immigration enforcement on Sept. 8. The federal assault on Chicago began the next day. Then came the Twin Cities. SCOTUS greenlit these horrors.

National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.

It's worth your time to call Hilton to cancel your account with them. 1-800-446-6677. Here's why:

They asked me if it was because of the ICE thing. I said it was. Then they suggested I wait a couple days to see if they were going to change course.

The pressure is getting to them. Let's keep it up.

There are a hundred more important things to say, and I tried to say some of them in my essay for "Thinking About...", but: invading a country for oil is also just atavistic at this point. Even if it worked, which it won’t, it still wouldn’t work.

America has 925 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.9 trillion in wealth.

The bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth.

When 925 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

So true. Big media fail. And Democrats never conveyed this.
So many news outlets continue to push the obviously false claim that Elon Musk and DOGE were trying to eliminate waste and fraud.
Because the goal was never “saving” anything. The mission was the destruction of the federal government and the theft of everyone’s data, and they achieved everything they intended to do.

Tariffs grind gears; rates whisper. #econsky
Tariffs are like throwing rocks in the economic engine, then asking the Fed to fix the noise by adjusting the radio volume. Interest rates can tune demand, but they can’t magically make a trade war painless.
