Sometimes I think about how Napster & Grokster were immediately destroyed despite filesharing having clear non-infringing, time-shifting, & other positive uses, and yet AI tools like this, built on way worse infringement & used to lie & abuse in really gross ways, are huge parts of our economy now
This is one of the worst, most horrifying exposures we have ever seen. It is hard to overstate how bad the things that people are using tools like for are, and it's insane to pretend like these tools are anything other than nonconsensual porn machines

I just got bit by one of the community cats because she was trapped and I had to rescue her, and then found another cat dead on the lawn as I went to go clean myself up. This is the part of caring for cats that you don't see because it's not glamorous. It's heartbreaking.
