Just spitballing here, but I think we could sell ppl on universal healthcare not by pointing out how much money they'll save but by how much time they'll save not getting stuck in line at the pharmacy behind people dealing with shitty insurance companies. Three people ahead of me, all had problems.

Got Barry Lyndon on Blu-ray from the library. It gets lost behind The Shining, 2001, Clockwork Orange, and Eyes Wide Shut, Strangelove, etc. in talking about Kubrick's filmography, but SO MANY people on letterboxd say this is either one of his best or one of their personal faves, so here I go...

The Avatar movies are not for me. And it used to bother me that a movie I found pretty eh had such legs, but maturity has taught me both 1) let people like what they like and 2) making one of these every three to five years is actually the best use of Cameron's wealth.

For fun, I asked it to list all the characters from A Little Night Music and their songs. It said that Carl-Magnus sings "The Miller's Son." That is so, so wrong, but dear lord, now I want to see that so, so badly.
Some of us have been advocating this going back since chatGPT launched. It also has other benefits: correcting someone else's work is actually a really good way to learn something yourself.
