Mississippi’s largest synagogue was set on fire before dawn Saturday. Fire department ruled it arson, and a suspect has been arrested.

If there is a God, which I doubt, I am certain He does not trifle Himself by intervening in the outcomes of sporting events. But it is at least plausible that a Pope from Chicago got busy tugging at the hem of His garment and begging before the Bears began that second half.
