If you don’t hate where we are for EVERYONE, you don’t disagree with what’s happening. You just want to change the targets.

"We have nothing against Jews, we just hate Zionists*" (*vaguely defined)
Now has its inverse version
"We have nothing against Jews, we just hate anti-Zionists*"
(*anti-MAGA Jews)
This version is not put out by noisy yet powerless activists, but rather by the US government.
Following his Nazi salute, Steve Bannon engages in unalloyed antisemitism, calling progressive US Jews the "#1 enemy...inside the wire" for Israelis, "progressive Jewish billionaires funding all this stuff", disloyal to Israel & MAGA

Initiated by Dina Awwad-Srour & Emma Sham-Ba Ayalon, 2 female peace activists, one Palestinian , the other Israeli ..This act rebels against systems that want us to believe some lives are worth more than others.

Together, we remember. Together, we insist on the dignity & value of every child lost.
We invite you to join a sacred ceremony of remembrance. For 2 continuous days, beginning January 26, we will read the names of the children.. 11,635 names - these are the verified names we have been able to collect from the most recent lists available.

The ceremony will span approximately 36 hours
🕯️ This link is for a special online ritual starting today 💔

Current events make it really obvious how failing to create long term social bonds is really dangerous to me and my family. Like, this is why social communication problems are actively terrible and we can't just let our kids flounder and hope they'll find their people.

This is a highly astute and very well reasoned argument in both nuance and content. It’s politically adept and very important that people read it and take it seriously: every word-

No offense, but I can’t not see the convo among self-described radicals in the US on whether to vote or not as coming from privilege. I’m 33 and was only able to vote once bcs our parliament illegally extended its own terms a bunch of times. It gets far worse when you can’t vote anymore, trust me.

Always rankled me bc it's one of the biggest examples of everyone else having to give up freedom to coddle gun culture. Mags everywhere, security guards everywhere - it's obnoxious.

I like to shoot and I'm not anti-gun - I'm anti-hassle and bullshit.

In the justified anger at the Israeli government it’s crucial not to lose sight of the fact that Hamas is a murderous inhuman terror organization.

According to sources with knowledge of the details of the autopsy, the six murdered hostages were apparently executed with a shot to the head.

9 yr old, with vast relief: it's April 1st but in our family we don't do that because it's not funny

9 yr old has given up trying to understand how to retrofit scratch to make a 3D game and download unreal engine instead. I have no idea where he's going with this and hope he continues to expect no help from me because I know nothing. 😂

There's a lot to love about 9yr old's school and I wish I had a fraction of the support he does when I was in elementary. AND omg I would have cringed and died if we'd had a period party for the whole school with red 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈 for all. I am too gen x for this.

The Pogues' Shane MacGowan, who died Thursday at age 65, fancied himself in the tradition of great, doomed Irish poets. He was right on both accounts.

I realize I actually have instilled a sense of social obligation in 9 yr old and honestly I feel guilty about it. Also now I can't use the "kid said no" excuse with my family anymore because he'll say yes (and then tell me later he only did it not to be rude)
