Medical institutions treat trans people as a population to surveil, manage, and dissect, rather than as people to assist or treat with basic dignity.

Oslo University Hospital caught using trans patients' journals for research purposes:
- Without the patients' consent to participate in research
- Affecting minors
- 1700 of them
- Taking highly sensitive information from said journals

This is a HUGE breach.

Tidligere i år meldte vi et forskningsprosjekt til redelighetsutvalget ved OUS og UiO.

Nå er forskerne felt for alvorlige brudd på forskningsetiske normer.

Miss Major, one of the mothers of the trans liberation movement, has been in the hospital for 10 days with sepsis and a blood clot. She has looked out for us for generations, now it’s time to look out for her. Donate if you can: fundly.com/missmajor

That you deserve better is almost besides the point. They absolutely fucked with the wrong one!

Part of the reason we are here is that with each new atrocity we choose to normalize a past that wasn't normal. The DOJ has been targeting people and been political since day 1.

Answering the spam calls gets you marked as an active number which will increase the number of calls you get. But apparently it's just bad moral character.
cameronwilson.bsky.social
my most unpopular opinion is that it's a sign of defective moral character if you point blank refuse to answer phone calls from unknown numbers. it's not that hard to hang up on spam/scammers, and you are probably missing important calls!

I agree that the movement is better together but there is a logical fallacy in saying you did gay marriages as evidence you'll fight for trans inclusion. There's also a particular history of cis gay folks openly abandoning trans people to secure their own rights.
gkarwasright.bsky.social
I shut my mouth and voted her because, well, gestures at everything. But the article does a lot of "look at her supporting gay rights which we will use to imply without proof that she isnt bad for trans people.
gkarwasright.bsky.social
Concentrating on the gay/trans panic defense is a giant way to set off my radar alarms for people who absolutely do not understand the issues facing trans folks in the criminal legal system. I love Shannon too but I didn't agree when this article came out and I dont now.
gkarwasright.bsky.social
She literally fought lawsuits that would have given incarcerated trans people access to gender affirming care. I don't give a fuck what she said to the ACLU. She sucks and there is no reason left to defend her.

gosh, I can't imagine why so many leftists chose not to ✨ vote blue no matter who ✨ at the last election 🤔
photo of kamala harris accompanying the following news story:

Kamala Harris says she agrees with "concerns" over trans athletes playing on women's sports teams, but hopes "goodwill and common sense" can lead to a solution.

"I agree with the concerns expressed by parents and players that we have to take into account biological factors such as muscle mass and unfair student athletic advantage when we determine who plays on which teams, especially in contact sports," she writes in her new book, 107 Days, according to an excerpt shared with Politico.

"With goodwill and common sense, I believe we can come up with ways to do this, without vilifying and demonizing children."

The extract makes Harris the latest Democrat to question trans people's participation in sport, though she does defend telling the American Civil Liberties Union in 2019 that she supported providing gender transition treatment to people in prison and immigration detention.

vickyacab.bsky.social
The "terrorist reclassification" was an extreme over interpretation by Ken Klippenstein that circulated purely as a headline and is active disinfo, there are a whole gaggle of left/lib journalists right now who have found their niche getting massive engagement by scaring the shit out of trans people

TWIST: this is what police have been doing for time immemorial.

It is called: contempt of cop.
robertscotthorton.bsky.social
It's now standard operating procedure for Trump's secret police to always accuse a person they assault of having assaulted them. This presumably eliminates the risk of facing charges.

i'm stuck on the analysis that conservative media functions as a hyperreal simulacrum so that whenever anything real real (one of the fonts of hyperreal getting made dead) punches through it all just goes especially crazy

While this is true we should also remain highly skeptical of facts in indictments, particularly under this DOJ.

The idea that the alleged killer in the Kirk case was a right winger is really not borne out by the evidence submitted in the indictment yesterday and people should stop saying that.

I've seen trans ppl promoting this piece several times today, but I haven't seen a single cis person linking or praising it.

It's the same old thing, an article is written FOR cis ppl but ABOUT trans ppl and yet for some reason the cis folks to whom it's addressed seem to not notice the piece.

“Anti-trans harassment and violence is all the rage. Trans people are afraid to leave the country, let alone leave their houses. The right-wing ecosystem has gladly spent years creating these conditions, while Democrats have by turns avoided saying anything about them at all” 😞

korean reporting is nightmarish on the conditions Korean workers were contained in
Their waists and hands were tied together, forcing them to bend down and lick water to drink. The unscreened bathrooms contained only a single sheet to cover their lower bodies. Sunlight barely penetrated through a fist-sized hole, and they were only allowed access to the small yard for two hours. Detained by US immigration authorities for eight days, the workers and their families expressed shock, describing human rights violations and absurdities they could not have imagined as ordinary Koreans living in 2025.

From the Charlie Kirk press conference:
From the Charlie Kirk press conference
- "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We got him," Utah Gov. Spencer Cox says 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was arrested.
- The family of Tyler Robinson said he had become "more political" in recent years.
- A family member and a roommate reported Robinson.
- Robinson had mentioned that Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU.
- On the bullet casings, Robinson wrote, "Hey Fascist! Catch!," "Bella Ciao," and "If you read this, you are gay lmao"
