Since I’m sharing 2025 work for #artAdventCalendar, another thing I did this year was make a large collection of repeat patterns, like this Velvet worm repeat pattern! Putting more invertebrate linocuts into surface design! 🧪🐡

These adorable, caterpillar-like blue velvet worm are from NZ (Aotearoa)

So sad people fell for this, to their own detriment

Right-wingers, too, have kids who'll end up w/ Long Covid

"The tactic of deploying fringe scientists & doctors was an old one used by Big Tobacco and the fossil fuel industry, & soon other contrarian doctors were propelled to right-wing stardom."

Keep thinking about this. It's in a slightly tucked away room and I almost missed it. But it's such a wonderful response to a giant floating perspective head appearing in your world. These toddlers are so much more on it than two Tudor ambassadors showing off their science stuff.

Wes Streeting blaming doctors for the chaos from rising flu cases #C4News

Wes Streeting did not offer covid or flu boosters to everyone who wanted one

Wes Streeting did not care enough to ensure clean indoor air in schools, workplaces, hospitality

Both would have brought down cases significantly

Ableism makes you think you will be the exception.

Disability won’t happen to you.

You’re “better than that”.

You’re “stronger”.

You will succeed where the rest of us failed.

It’s not true. Disability can & does happen to almost everyone.

It’s not a moral failing.

But please wear an #N95 mask, designed to filter out infectious airborne particles, rather than the surgical masks
