I can't keep saying this enough.
It's not about drugs.
It's not about oil.
Maduro offered Trump oil, gold, and rare mineral access if he'd just leave the country alone.

This is 100% about regime change and fulfilling Marco Rubio's wet dream, which in the end is about harming Cuba.

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

If there was ever any moment to abandon the racial state, it would have been in the aftermath of emancipation. And sure, some ex-Confederates said they were sorry when they thought there was a chance they could be tried for treason, but immediately turned to creating a Klantation landscape.

My guess is that no amount of hardship, suffering, or deprivation will convince this 37% to abandon their commitment to white supremacy. I hope I'm wrong, but all of the historical evidence points to the contrary.

This is exactly what the bosses who put Trump into office were trying to achieve. Crushing the tight labor market from the early Biden years that gave workers - for the first time in my adult lifetime - leverage over their bosses.
NEW

US labor market flows remained sluggish in October data released this morning, as hiring slowed to nearly the lowest level since early COVID

The hiring rate fell to 3.2%, layoffs rose to 1.2%, quits fell to 1.8%, and job openings rose to 4.6%

What an excellent opinion piece on how UCP dismantling public healthcare has long term impacts on children who don’t receive necessary services. UCP absolutely failing in their fiduciary duty to Albertans, and getting away with it as they fail Albertans 😡 #ableg
Take a read of what is happening to Access for our children in AB:

"Families are being asked to pay twice. Once through taxes, and again through out-of-pocket fees, premiums, and the brutal math of what they can and cannot afford."

Alberta isn’t fixing healthcare. It’s abandoning it.
