Xmas Day 1996, Sinai Desert, Egypt. I was in back of a pickup heading to 3-hour guard duty shift. There was a 1st Lt. in back. Officers didn’t do guard duty. He was taking a guard shift for one of his troops because it was Xmas.

Hope everyone has a leader like that at some point in life/career.
