Rob & Michele Reiner were amazing activists, & the news of their deaths is stunning. First met them in LA 15 years ago when we were doing the show from The Abby & they joined me, fierce advocates for marriage equality. They came on the show at the DNC in ‘16 (here) & many times over the years.

Ok, if the mass shooting problem is actually a mental health crisis, then it's time to provide fully-covered, comprehensive mental health care.
We need to train up +/- 1 million mental health professionals and support staff who aren't burdened by student loans and have a place to deliver services.

Blue state governors are required by law to protect their states from an invasion. Trump sending Texas troops to Oregon or Illinois over the governor's objections would be an invasion. The Dem governors must mobilize their own National Guard to at the very least arrest the invading troops.
