Raccoons are showing early signs of domestication.

Urban raccoons are evolving a short snout, a telltale feature of pets & other domesticated animals, but scientists believe this is just a ploy to get closer to our trash.

This is Roy. We feed him but aren't falling for his bullshit act.

Judges following a statute entirely proper under the Constitution, but doing so against Trump's wishes, have "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

I'm seeing people wonder why ICE is going after Charlotte.

ICE has been at war with Charlotte's sheriff ever since he won in 2018.

We'd covered this at Bolts back in the day; this quote is from that sheriff:
“When the 8 African American sheriffs took over the largest counties in North Carolina, it became a threat to the good ol’ boy system,” says the sheriff of Charlotte. These new sheriffs broke ties with ICE.

But GOP lawmakers cracked down this week, overbidding the governor’s veto to adopt this law:
North Carolina GOP Is Cracking Down on the Black Sheriffs Who Stood Up to ICE
Boosted by new supermajorities, Republicans are closing in on legislation to mandate more collaboration with ICE and preempt local policies hard-won by immigrants’ rights advocates.

IT WAS THE BEST MRI OF WHATEVER EVER IT WAS SO AMAZING IT EVEN HAD DR. LECTER IN TEARS AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER
Trump: I had an MRI and the result was outstanding.

Reporter: Was it your brain?

Trump: I have no idea what they analyzed, but whatever they analyzed, they analyzed it well.

I’m old enough to remember Jimmy Carter having to sell his peanut farm to avoid conflicts of interest.

This would be like Carter putting up tariffs and then buying up the bankrupt peanut farms.

What is so f*cking hard about not misgendering someone?

Why do people insist on doing it, then freak out when somebody does it back to them?
The disconnect blows my mind.

Wanting a fast food worker disciplined because they don’t like being misgendered is such entitlement and arrogance.

My law firm is currently litigating 65 voting and election cases. 12 of these relate to redistricting. We have four cases pending in the U.S Supreme Court -- including one I am arguing this Dec.

Dems must make the case that Trump’s corruption, lies, abuse of pardon power, flagrant disregard for the constitution and criminal acts present an unprecedented crisis in American history.

An entirely criminal administration.

And that major actions are required.
Something the US needs to accept too is that without a large-scale correction imposing consequences on a large number of people, the crisis of governance here will continue indefinitely

The release of emails from Jeffrey Epstein about Donald Trump sheds light on just why the Trump administration seems willing to go to any lengths to avoid further disclosures about Trump’s relationship to Epstein. Shan Wu breaks it down -

Cubans for Trump realizing they are getting to the unfortunate consequences of their actions that they did not foresee.

Welcome to “find out”
This is the Trump admin's gift to the Florida GOP in exchange for their support during the campaign: an official policy that all Cubans and Venezuelans are inherently suspicious and should probably be denied immigration benefits.

We'll see how that goes over.
