The Glorious Revolution is going to come mostly from care work being done outside the purview of the current system. The anger is VALID but please do not prioritize/fetishize violent action: most of what we need right now is how to get folks food, medicine, necessities, & luxuries without the state.

Please hear this:

It. Doesn't. Matter. Anymore. What. Is. Legal. For. Them. To. Do.

They have control of the highest law in the land. They are the law. These appeals to legal process are begging the question, intellectually speaking.

Real talk, darlings:

Toughen the fuck up. Tighten the fuck up. Stand on business, all day everyday. You are going to be criticized, demonized, misgendered, insulted, threatened, etc, in different ways. Fortify yourself.

Some of us *have* been coddled too much, and what we need now is strength✊🏾🖤

Stop fucking saying he blamed “DEI,” which is some abstract, non-tangible idea. He is blaming people of color having jobs he thinks they aren’t qualified for. He’s blaming race. He’s being racist every time he says it. Journalists need to get fucking backbones, my word.

We say that people don't notice constitutional regime collapse because it comes on too slowly but I'm not sure how much faster it could be happening; we are literally at concentration camps on day 9.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.

Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.

But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.

They aren’t firing for a reason.

people get consistently angry when you point out (accurately) that Germany was inspired more by the US and British concentration camps systems than Trump's camps are inspired by the Nazis.

Hitler's men literally looked at US IMMIGRATION FACILITIES as a direct inspiration for building death camps

Breakups and all forms of relational loss are hard because it's not a single ending but countless millions, as so many potential futures wink out of existence with one goodbye.

We mourn the loss of one past and a thousand thousand futures, gone all at once.

Y'all, I am simply begging you to start masking up again. We will have no information on the pandemic currently underway AND no information when/if H5N1 makes the jump.

Don't wait for someone from the government to tell you to start protecting yourself because it will be way too late if they do.
With Trump's withdrawal from the U.N. World Health Organization, the U.S. will likely fall behind on public health innovation and disease prevention, putting the country and the world at greater risk to the next pandemic.
Trump’s Exit From WHO Could Make Next Pandemic More Likely — and More Deadly
Global health law professor Lawrence Gostin explains the risks of the US withdrawal from the World Health Organization.

We have been defanged by the idle politeness this society demands, to the point where if you call someone out for doing something bad or selfish, the argument then becomes about you calling them bad or selfish, not the harm they did. Do we see now how that is just abuser culture & leads to fascism?

Someone just asked me what this sad, weird thing was & I had no clue. Naturally, I replied
"The Notebook" but no one else thought my answer was funny.
Thanks, @skippershuman.bsky.social 😜🫶🏻

The perfect mutt. He's a brilliant protector (GSD) a bit of a dick (Chow-chow) a talker (Husky) & SUCH A LOVER (Staffordshire Pit).
Happy 10 years, Seamus Blewe. I fucking love you, dog. 🥰

Me: I will just relax for a few minutes by playing a mindless game on my phone

Phone: Cool, every 90 seconds you will just need to watch a little animated snuff film featuring a mother and child freezing to death, or a king slowly being crushed against a spiky wall by piles of falling rubble
