Twitter crossed some lines for me where i just can't have an account or any data willingly shared with that platform and they just keep crossing more lines
so x dot com’s ai generated CSAM and they admitted it may violate US law and … i haven’t seen in anyone in power say much at all or call to stop using the platform

Some years back I made a little book called Foxglove, featuring illustrated excerpts from an out-of-print memoir about a 1940s seamstress who moonlighted as a pickpocket. It was fun to research and put together -- I even did a bibliography.
The thing is, the memoir never existed. I made it up.

I promise I'll talk about something else soon but I'm so deeply deeply furious to see scientists playing around with genAI like it's no big deal, as if they do not know better than anyone else in the world how dire the climate situation is. I wish them a lifetime of shame.

"people can still download your art from bsky and feed it into AI" if gamer behavior has taught me anything, just one extra button press is more than enough to annoy a MASSIVE amount of people into not making the effort
