Another 16-year-old is a victim of human trafficking, and is already going through the process to get a T visa for victims of trafficking. Despite that, no removal order, and his parents not seeking his return, the Trump admin sought to deport him in the middle of the night.

The cool thing about the whole Lisa Cook thing is I don't need to know literally anything about mortgage law or what she did to know that firing her based on mere allegations without due process in front of a neutral finder of fact is inappropriate and does not amount to "cause.'

I think it’s fair to expect journalists to understand the differences between Hakeem Jefferies and Ken Martin, instead of lumping them into a single bucket called Democratic leadership. It’s not a monolith. I really expect better.

The idea among rightwingers of cities being dangerous extends to the smallest cities possible. I live in a city of maybe 30,000 people, and I remember a coworkers' husband years ago acting like I must witness Taxi Driver-level degradations everyday.
