We need to kill the worship of efficiency.
We have two news channels instead of hundreds of thousands of papers and outlets. More efficient? Absolutely. And it's terrible.

So many publications are phrasing the netflix - warner thing as a done deal, but its not + it will take a YEAR minimum to even officialize this sale. Ive heard the director's guild of america is planning a movement to block the proceedings, they dont want you to know you can oppose this

There is so much about this deal, that the more I learn the stupider it gets. Like the fact that since Paramount didn't win, Trump has decided THIS constitutes a monopoly and deserves extra scrutiny.
