Can't look at the FGC—at ANYTHING, really—using paradigms developed in a pre-pandemic world.

For better or for worse, EVERYTHING is different now, & our communities have adapted in as many different ways as the number of different games we play.

—or not at all. I've held up the latter side of the bargain semi-decently I think. Expect more of the former tho in the coming days.

That said, now that life is moving at a more predictable pace, I do miss some of the things here/there/everywhere… namely talking WITH the homies & cool people.

It's been great tbh—I've completely missed weird takes & horrible shit that would consume time I need elsewhere. I've mentioned many times that when I feel a need to talk AT people i.e. soapbox, that I should do it in longform mediums—

Was cool to watch some really good #Splatoon3 play this morning with Super Jump, then later on be a part of the #S3NAL production on the League's first week.

Everyone did great, & it was awesome to finally meet folks in person.
