Why is Donald Trump changing his mind every five minutes and saying completely mad stuff an embarrassment for Keir Starmer? It feels like it should chiefly be seen as an embarrassment for the United States.

Current events are making it challenging to track MPs and reputable organisations that are permanently migrating to Bluesky. If folks see examples that we need to assess for verification - do let me know. Will limit it largely to politicians, govt orgs and large orgs at the moment for this pass.

Oh dear Chris. And BBC.

Think we’ll all go with the OBR official, rather than you and your unprofessional biased nonsense.

Feel free to issue an apology and have a bit of a think. Maybe about the years of barely scrutinised *Tory* policies that got us into this mess.

Any local musicians have any gear they’d like to donate? My kid started a music club at their hs. It’s a credit recover school, so there’s little budget for extra curriculars. Kiddo brought up all their own instruments and gear to share. They’re short on cables and mics and only have two amps. LMK!

The biggest criticism associate and budding associate nations get is that they are made up of immigrants, not natives. We are no different. However, we train Icelandic school children and aim to develop cricket as a major sport here. This takes maybe ten years to bear fruit.

The idea of replacing Starmer is just utter nonsense. He's just won an election with a huge majority. It would look foolhardy, sel-obssessed, chaotic, insane: classic Tory bollocks.

I don’t want to be too shrill about this but I think the BBC, ITV and Sky have disgraced themselves in their coverage of the anti-refugee protests. A massive failure of judgement. But now we know the next time a progressive protest “isn’t news” that it’s nothing to do with numbers

What I can’t get my head around about the apparent popularity of Farage in England is that he’s just very obviously a prick.

Long time since I lived in England, but growing up he could have walked into any pub in Tyne & Wear and every punter would have just instantly recognised him as a prick.

For myself there's a lot of things I love about England. I could probably write reams on the lanscape, cities, music, literature, architecture, folklore...

Doubt whether any of those GB news pundits defending the flag daubing characters could list anything beyond an empty rant of hackneyed phrases.

£5bn disability benefits cut will stop welfare state collapsing, says Kendall.

Ridiculous.

Benefit cuts = squalor, pressure on public services.

Total govt planned spend £1,335bn in 2025-26

£500bn - £1,400bn tax not collected since 2010.

Tax the rich. Let people live with dignity.

I honestly don't understand how we can have riots from the far-right less than a year ago...and no one from the govt. says "Reform, Farage, Robinson have done Incalculable Damage to the UK"? But let's blame the people who they were trying to set on fire.

Labour MPs urge Starmer to adopt Trump-style media strategy.

Wrong advice.

Trump is a destructive man-child.

Need honest politics, improve people's life chances.

Improve purchasing power of the bottom 50%, redistribute, nationalise essential services, improve education and healthcare.
