D.C. MARRIAGES, SAVED! The D.C. Council just passed an emergency bill to let the city to issue marriage licenses. Because of the federal shutdown, D.C. Superior Court's Marriage Bureau has been unable to process marriage licenses since last week. (The court is federally funded.)

Let me be clear: backpay for these workers is required under a federal law I wrote with former Senator Cardin — which Trump signed — during the last Trump shutdown.

This is just more fear mongering from a president who wants a blank check for lawlessness. It won't work.

hmmm now that we have fancy cool new signs at most (many?) RideOn stops, I usually check the times btwn RideOn and transit app with times reasonably close. I figure with the magic/elasticity of bus time, 1-2 min is close enough
