started as a rotational symmetrical pre-dreadnought, but some ww2 battleship greeblies kinda slipped in (radar arrays look too futuristic to pass up)
still needs small details, point defence turrets, some work on the engine/wire

Part of why I share so much ref photos of spaces and things many may not seen or known of. I think artists in general should talk about there references and share it and not keeping it some kind hidden part of the process cos it is your art at its core and can lead to others having there own ideas
an important aspect of this, is to look for reference OUTSIDE of the media you're working in
I a lot of game devs are bad with this! Find inspiration in books, painting, movies, real life experience, theater, music, etc.... but game as ref. should be the last!

and of course we live in a hypersaturated media environment, your influences are going to inspire you... but major works typically resonate because they have a unique vision which draws from the creator's life rather than a series of recognizable tropes ("liminal spaces," "cozy vibes," etc.)
