A lot of the war on drugs was Congress going apeshit after Len Bias died. Aggressive seizures isn't the problem when compared to aggressive sentencing.

Agreed. Plus Trumpers will overlook anything when it comes to this guy. Also, American society comes with a large dose of puritan judgmentalism when it concerns girls & women & sex.
I will say this: the Epstein files are important, but they were always guaranteed to be a depressing disappointment. Too many of us can't let get of our deep-seated belief that there's a 1974 smoking gun moment, that one photo or memo is going to end this nightmare. That could never happen, or else-
