Okay chores done, now I can spend the rest of my day between knitting, cross stitching, and diamond painting.

Need to be careful though, dislocated my primary index finger again overnight.

On this day in 1989, an armed gunman murdered 14 women at École Polytechnique de Montréal. Another ten women and four men were injured.
The anniversary of the massacre is commemorated annually on Dec. 6 as the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

When the two-part miniseries Anne of Green Gables debuted on CBC on Dec. 1, 1985, nearly six million Canadians tuned in. It went on to win 10 Geminis, an Emmy and a Peabody.
To this day, the miniseries is studied in film schools.
This is the story of that miniseries.

You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you?

Not sure I'd be saved if it's an archeology site. 🤷‍♀️

It's been a heartache week. Missing my father-in-law, and bonus dad tonight. So it's a warm soup, candles, and gentle energy night.

Came in to work this morning to an ugly water leak from our heating system. Not sure how long it had been leaking, but my cubicle is very soggy.

Is the day over yet? 🤦‍♀️

How will you spend your weekend?

Today hanging with grand gremlin #5. Getting his glasses fixed, then heading to market for some treats.

Tomorrow will be groceries, yard work, and maybe making chocolate rolls.

Sunday will be chilling and knitting. Enjoying the fall weather.
How will you spend your weekend?

I happily have a lunch date with my Great Auntie, and we're going to go to a couple of shops for snacks & provisions.

Tomorrow I have an elementary school reunion, where I'll see my very first friend (we were 8 when we met) for the first time in decades.
How will you spend your weekend? I'll go first:

* Walk around Silver Lake reservoir and listen to Alice Winn's novel IN MEMORIAM (it started slow, but now I'm into it).
* Continue revising chapter one of my novel.
* Clean the $#@%&! garage.
* Meet friends for dinner al fresco at Bacari.

No one really needs to see that, so here’s a reminder on how to guard your peace.
Have been tagged in to provide the reminder about traumatic video because of the Charlie Kirk shooting video going around!

1. Settings -> Content & Media, turn off "autoplay video"
2. Keep your device sound off while browsing so an accidental activation won't include the sound

The Witch of Blackbird Pond among others.
Quote this with a book you read way too young that explains why you are the way you are.

Clan of the Cave Bear (man, it was the early 80s, and I had no idea 😅), and Night Shift. Among *so* many others.
