UK will not make any assessment on whether the US action in Venezuela is lawful. If the issue is pushed to a vote at the UN Sec Council, UK will abstain

The UK gov is concerned that doing otherwise would risk jeopardizing relations with the US at a critical time.

Yes, of course they will continue doing this while Trump’s goons do birthday military parades for the dead leader, sweep people off the streets into vans, kill the fuck out of any foreigner they want and work topple any government they don’t like. This will always, always be the line, no matter what

I'm also gonna say the fact that we didn't spend the entire news weekend talking about how "awesome" it is that we paraded Maduro through NY in an open door van but rather listened to this entire admin defensively justify it all shows that they're already getting heat for this and they're worried.

The pardon for Hernandez makes an obvious & absolute mockery of each & every attempt to rationalise, or even justify, Trump's treatment of Maduro. I'm not sure this single, simple point can be stressed enough. Once again, he proves his critics right & reduces his supporters to epic moral corruption.

NEW: Prime Minister of Denmark just responded to Trump's threat to annex Greenland (Which is part of Denmark) by invoking the NATO alliance's "collective security guarantee" to defend all members from attacks. We are now on the verge of war with a NATO ally because of Trump.

Trump just threatened to attack Greenland next, and the prime minister of Denmark/Greenland just invoked Nato's collective defense article.

Coming up next: Trump starts a war with a Nato ally, while Russian trolls and MAGA dumbfucks cheer.

Then this would be an attack on a NATO protected country, because of the special relationship with Denmark. See link www.euronews.com/my-europe/20...

Notable to me that fed-up leaders of Greenland and Denmark are not only telling Trump to stop his threats, but also suggesting that their NATO/EU compadres should speak up against the bluster as well. I’ve seen messages of support from Finland, Norway & Sweden today.
