Decisions about font readability are now considered DEI? Everything the regime does is complete lunacy.
Marco Rubio ordered diplomats to return to using Times New Roman font in official communications, calling his predecessor's decision to adopt Calibri a “wasteful” diversity move

The secretary of state called it a "wasteful" diversity move, according to an internal department cable seen by Reuters.

All part of a larger problem, being that the city of Boston has to seek permission from the state for all kinds of normal governing activities, all because the Beacon Hill Brahmins didn't trust Irish politicians 100 years ago.
Stunned by how dishonest senators like Senate President Karen Spilka and Senator Nick Collins are being about Mayor Michelle Wu's tax shift home rule petition.

It was filed in February. They ignored it. No right to complain that it's a brand new ask. #mapoli

Both of these things need to happen.
Court reform should be a priority for 2028, whether that's adding seats or term limits
The dripping contempt the right wing SCOTUS majority holds for district judges is truly a sight to behold every time. When they deign to give actual reasons for their shadow docket holdings, it’s “look at the absolute idiots who keep getting everything wrong!”

DJT Pardoning a CONVICTED DRUG DEALER/TRAFFICKER to the USA, makes it look doubtful.

How low we have sunk as a country. The US Department of Defense is now run by a rabid war criminal.

Ordering the execution of helpless survivors of an attack is ALWAYS a war crime, whether they civilian or military.

Pure, mindless, barbarism.

The same regime that commits war crimes to kill drug couriers on the high seas, happily pardons wealthy drug traffickers who can "pay the fine."
rump says he’ll issue a “Full and Complete Pardon” to former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, convicted of drug trafficking last year in the US and sentenced to 45 years in prison.

The most lawless president in history.

This is shockingly bad, both the behavior from the regime and the participation from the university. None of this is okay.
BREAKING: Northwestern University has agreed to pay the U.S. Treasury $75 million, over the course of three years as part of an agreement with the federal government to restore funding and end investigations into the university

Trump is explicitly saying that the US government is bankrupt. 10 months, it took him 10 months to do to the country what he has done to every single damn business he has ever touched.
So he’s saying all the tariff money we took in is gone and we won’t be able to pay it back. There was always a possibility he could lose this lawsuit and have to refund the tariff money. We didn’t prepare for that possibility? He’s running the govt like he ran his casinos.

Thank you to Senator Ron Wyden for letting us know the MAGA Senate Republicans are trying to slide a nationwide abortion ban into the shutdown negotiations.

Hell no! They want to control every part of women’s lives and we aren’t having it.

A... scoop? Multiple workers tell me that dirt from the demolition of the East Wing of the White House (to make way for Trump's new $200 million ballroom) is being trucked to the north end of the Hains Point golf course. It will then be used to create new terrain on the course.
