One by one, Europeans mentioned in the Epstein files who still hold political office are beginning to resign or are being forced out of office.

Meanwhile, ruled by an administration almost entirely made up of Epstein associates, the US carries on as if nothing really happened.

Here are actual facts showing that immigrants aren't a drain on government resources – quite the opposite. They pay more in taxes than they get in benefits. (The Cato Institute, which did the study, is definitely not a liberal group – it's libertarian.)
The US immigrant population generated more in taxes than they received in benefits from all levels of government every year from 1994 to 2023.

The Cato study provides the first-ever 30-year analysis of the fiscal effects of immigration on government budgets.

One entirely predictable consequence of CBS and ABC settling those meritless Trump lawsuits is that it would encourage lesser politicians to file similarly meritless lawsuits against much smaller news organizations, which don’t have the networks’ resources.

for Trump to have an equivalent number of 'brownshirts' as Hitler he would need to recruit over 19 million 800 thousand more DHS officdts
Wait so 4 million out of ~65? Deducting women, children, and the elderly, you get 20m men age 18-65. So 1/5 of them were Brownshirts.

In America today, pop 340m, that's proportionately.... 20m.

Julie Le's comments are shocking, but they are a problem of the Trump admin’s own making. And it goes way beyond one lawyer new to the Minnesota U.S. Attorney's Office.

this is exactly right. "popularism" in practice amounts to an abdication of political leadership!
This part of our response essay is where I'm at. Boiling down all of politics to electoralism has been absolutely terrible for resisting rising authoritarianism.

The successful nonviolence and civil rights movements of the past, as I’ve gathered from reading about them, ALSO featured a shit ton of incessant petty drama and in-fighting.

But crucially, they didn’t have social media - so this was kept far more private.

It’s wild how politicized whistles have become on both the far right and the far left. Whistle blowing is “traumatizing” to ICE agents or immigrants depending on who you ask. But they make sense as a way to spontaneously rally occupied communities to ICE activities. There’s power in numbers.
LOL. Who needs whistles for their community groups, their PTAs, those Magic: The Gathering nights at the game store, their church organizations, outreach programs, whatever. The roving band of whistle goblins will get you whistles, for free, 100-1000. Drop a line: linktr.ee/3Dwhistles
