Nothing like a migraine to make the events unfolding in our country today even that more stressful. I’m trying to focus on the smaller, concrete actions I can take. Fighting the “freeze” is a terrifying and almost inescapable mindset, but I’m undoing it more every day.

Stop letting unfunny men tell you there’s something wrong with you for not getting their “jokes”. Stop fake laughing. Let their reality reflect the truth of how fundamentally they misunderstand humor. Neuter their ability to use “it was a joke” for emotional cover. Make them see nobody laugh.

I don't trust anyone mocking people for being upset over the TikTok ban in the US. Saying stuff like they're gonna have to get a "real job" now.

I feel so lucky to have my gf in my life. I’m alone on thanksgiving today while my family gets together because they refuse to accommodate me with covid precautions. Well, my favorite drink and bakery treats just showed up at my doorstep from my girl to make my day a little better. I am so lucky.
