😌 we personally believe most city cops should lose car privileges and should be given ebikes instead. cheaper to operate, quieter, takes up less space, and will negate their urge to run over civilians.

Would have been nice if Baltimore Police had asked this Benz driver to pay their $225 in unpaid red light violations instead of instructing them to park illegally.
Bah Humbug.

We love the Monument Lighting.

We don't love when the Baltimore Police Department ignores the maintenance of traffic guidance that specifies where to park and uses the bike lane to park VIPs.

Be a good neighbor and don’t leave debris in parking spaces.

It’s hazardous to our crews who are trying to clear the streets
Don't be a snitch.
If you see objects left out in a parking space, report them to 311 as debris in the roadway so crews can address it.

Let’s keep our streets clear and safe for everyone.

problem is that people want to use cars as their primary means of transportation, even over ambulating. they want them directly in front of their houses at all times even though they sit unused like 98% of the time. it's uncivilized. keeping them elsewhere and accessing them when needed is fine.
my position has always been that cars are bad in cities but that keeping a car in a garage at the end of a train line for going on country drives is cool and good. in college underclassmen weren't allowed to keep cars on campus, so I kept mine in a lot on a bus line. worked fine. should be like that

I complained to Odette about this and got a response from DOT that they have a permit and they also have an "approved detour" which is just "cross the street twice." They also informed that the orange barrier is not a walkway and is just there to "protect the fence." Frankly, I'm insulted.

If you love Costco (as I do), let them know they’ve fucked up with this move. #costco #dobetter
Costco announced they will not stock mifepristone in their pharmacies. Contrary to viral social media posts, this IS a big deal and it DOES mean that they caved to pressure from far-right MAGA anti-woman conservatives. Here I go over the evidence and what you can do skepchick.org/2025/08/cost...
