I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.

That is to be seen isn't it, I agree. Weiss made out well though. At best, CBS is a captured org & this is all for some political purpose. But, yeah, there's no logic in building a right-center news product that will piss off a large portion of their current watchers & wont attract MAGA viewers.

Honestly, not a business dude so can't talk about that but what I'm seeing from Trump on down is a dismantling of the institutions/gov't that resembles how Putin & oligarchs divided up Russia, so I look at this in the same vein. I don't think the Ellison clan truly cares about news beyond an asset
