Scotland's ‘game changer’ Scottish Child Payment was introduced 5 years ago today and has helped more than 322,000 children.

Five years ago, we introduced the Scottish Child Payment.

Thanks to our actions, child poverty in Scotland is the lowest in the UK - and we’re going further by introducing a £40 payment for babies under the age of one.

Let’s keep building a fairer Scotland. On 7 May, vote SNP.

I cannot stress enough how enjoyable it is to deprive that withered old cunt of your money. Waterstones, Argos, Boots - it is so easy to get whatever you need, and it feels kinda fun, like taking a holiday in 90s Britain
Just ordered a book from my local Waterstones. Click and collect so I’ll get it on way home tonight. As cheap as Amazon. Also bought an instant camera earlier this week from Argos, cheaper than on Amazon. It’s proving very easy not to use the evil billionaire’s website. More of you should try it.

I'm delighted that in Scotland, unlike in the rest of the UK, we have avoided doctors' strikes.

We're also now seeing consistent progress in our NHS: more operations, more GPs and falling long waits.

More to do, but that's real progress under the SNP.

This week John Swinney opened the first GP walk-in centre & froze rail fares. That’s what being on Scotland’s side looks like.

Anas Sarwar woke up on Monday thinking he was Brutus, but went to bed looking like Mr Bean. That’s what working in your own self-interest looks like.

It is worth recalling that the position of U.K. Ambassador to the US was not vacant at the time the Prime Minister chose to appoint Peter Mandelson to the role. A highly competent and respected woman was replaced.

It is absolutely unacceptable if they were undermined by Peter Mandelson during the financial crisis or at any time since.

I have ordered the Scottish Government to conduct a full investigatory audit to establish the facts.
