Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

The US is reliant on Canada and Finland for ice breaker tech right now

Ironic
The only U.S. heavy icebreaker turns 50. That's an interesting landmark given recent U.S. criticism of other countries for not taking Arctic security seriously.
USCGC Polar Star, the U.S. Coast Guard’s only heavy icebreaker, turns 50. All U.S. military icebreakers are part of the Coast Guard; the Navy does not operate any vessels of this type.

Why still so hard for too many to understand.?
The UK has always had regulatory & customs borders with whole world. These are (between different regulated/market standards & customs territories) the highest of barriers to int'l trade. By leaving the EU we added 31 & 28 extra of these.
Economic contraction always guaranteed

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1
