Recommend reading the whole thread for the background but thought this was a particularly powerful speech
Highlighting the speaker who stood in front of the Surprise mayor and told him to consider what the Mayor of Ohrdruf must’ve thought before he died by suicide: “He might have thought ‘how is this my fault I had no jurisdiction over this’ maybe he said ‘this site was not subject to local zoning.’”

There's a prominent Republican congressman who met his current wife when she was in high school and he was in his 40s, and it's just treated like no big deal by his caucus.

Worth remembering when they dismiss the Epstein Files stuff as no big deal.
this might sound bad. but if you look into the story it's actually much, much worse prospect.org/2022/04/08/h...

Neil Coyle MP has written a brutal takedown letter to Nigel Farage for his breach of parliamentary protocol, because Farage visited Coyle's London constituency without notifying him. 10/10 no notes.

I was asked to look at this post!

And while the story obviously has important context that’s missing from the headline - which I’ll cover obvs 😜 - what’s more important is to question why this is being posted!

And what to ask yourself when you see something like this…

Anyway just flicking through the Sunday newspapers reading about some minor content infractions that Ofcom might look into at the BBC/Channel 4.
