I saw it in the theater. Pretty good, but I wish there were more. The Patrick O'Brian books are the rare series that gets better & better as it goes along. I suppose some of that would be hard to convey in movies, but hey. I heartily recommend the books.
The book club I’m is reading the “The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder”. As it happens, my dad is visiting for a night, so now we’re watching ”Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World”, which has been on my list for a while now.
We’re only 10 minutes in. Holy shit!

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
