Over past day or so notice I’ve gained a large amount of followers. No idea why & tbh I don’t use this site enough to follow most back so no worries if you want to unfollow. Also this is a pretty boring account.
Quite a few are news aggregator accounts, & sorry but not my thing to follow those back

The blockade of Venezuela is a disgusting echo of U.S. imperialism in Latin America. We were lied to about Iraq and WMDs, and an entire generation paid the price.

Here we are again.

We cannot let a wannabe dictator drag us into another forever war.

Trump orders oil tankers blockade in Venezuela, labels Maduro regime a "terrorist" group
The escalation exerts unprecedented pressure on the Maduro regime, threatening to bankrupt Venezuela's already struggling economy.

Ref in this Alaves Madrid game allowing a lot for Madrid. Usually a dive is a second yellow no? Or a defending volleying someone in the balls from behind, or Rudiger again with being Rudiger. And still they’ll moan

Whenever I encounter the work of Peston, Mason or Kuenssberg, I'm reminded that the role of political editor on TV seems, bizarrely, to demand the churning out of the political equivalent of transfer rumours - trivial, ephemeral gossip that contributes nothing to our understanding of the world.
Fascism is on the rise, the cost of living is higher than ever, the NHS is still in the shitter and people are scared, tired, and furious with a useless failure of a government, but don’t worry! If you live in the cosseted political media bubble, 2026 is going to be WILD. Fuck off.

What an utter disgrace this Westminster #labour government is. Too deep in the pockets of Israel to recognise the inhumanity of their actions. Well done to @scotnational.bsky.social for putting this on the front page.

If we’re allowed to continue to have books in the future, history will note that Jimmy Fallon did a great deal to normalize the most villainous ghouls in existence.

Sam Altman: "I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT."

Look. If the Prime Minister won't stand up for his own mayor of the capital fucking city against obviously racist attacks. Then he's not worth the cheap laminate material Maurice Glassman 3D printed him on.

This is absolutely Awful. I know the Prime Minister can’t actually go full Hugh Grant in Love Actually but what is the point of being a sovereign nation if no one in the political class has the vestige of a spine?
