Can I shock you?

After selling Luis Diaz, Liverpool's transfer activity this summer - even after spending £300m! - has generated net 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙩 in their 2025-26 financials.

That helps explain how they really can afford Alexander Isak.

Liverpool's sales have covered their huge expenditure this summer in accounting terms meaning a big Isak deal is doable

Southgate got knighted for taking the men's team to two finals, which we lost both and his team played the dullest football. Sarina Weigman has taken her side to three finals and won two of them. Surely she deserves an honorary Damehood #Lionesses

Would really like to see a move for Koki Saito this window. He’s such great dynamic offensive player. I am not sure why Lommel (in the Belgian second division) aren’t seeking a sale. He’s proven himself in the championship and eredivise. I would like to see him in a mid table Bundesliga side.

They found Seo Jin-Su :(
Inshallah Kim Myung-jun has a wonderful career at Genk. Although I am a little bit concerned about his game time. They have no shortage of attacking talent, and he will have much to prove. Absolute bargain of deal for such a good prospect. May they never find Seo Jin-su 🍊

Hmm mixed feelings about this. USG 🇧🇪 are in the Champions League next season but 🇩🇪 Bundesliga is a step 🆙 so good luck to him.

I was hoping he'd move last summer but better late than never I guess.
🚨🔵 Hoffenheim have agreed deal to sign Koki Machida from Union St Gilloise on permanent transfer. The agreement will be signed later this week and transfer fee will be worth €5m. Deal in place, as @Nieuwsblad_be reported.

Measles high infection rate is the reason we have not yet been able to eradicate it. That rate means you need a very high vaccination rate to prevent outbreaks. It is possible, but not with current levels of institutional distrust.
The average person with the flu gives it to around 1.4 people. The average person with measles gives it to between 12 and 18 people.

Measles cases continue to surge globally, putting millions of children at risk.

More than 10 million people globally were infected with measles in 2023, a 20% increase from the previous year.
