🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.
The Gravamen of the Disclosure 4. The gravamen of the disclosure is as follows: a. By memorandum dated May 12, 2025 (“the May 12 Memo”), Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons authorizes ICE agents to forcibly enter into certain people’s homes without a judicial warrant, consent, or an emergency. b. Specifically, in the May 12 Memo, the Acting ICE Director authorized ICE Agents to rely on Form I-205 (which is not a judicial warrant) to enter the residence of an alien subject to a final order of deportation, without consent, including by “a necessary and reasonable amount of force.”2c. While addressed to “All ICE Personnel,” in practice the May 12 Memo has not been formally distributed to all personnel. Instead, the May 12 Memo has been provided to select DHS officials who are then directed to verbally brief the new policy for action. Those supervisors then show the Memo to some employees, like our clients, and direct them to read the Memo and return it to the supervisor.

These are totally unsupported claims with no links, citations or even statements like “sources familiar with the matter.” I read basically every single story about AI efficacy at big companies, especially salesforce. These are either made up or egregious extrapolations of things.
Recently, senior executives at Salesforce have admitted, both internally and publicly, that they massively overestimated Al's capabilities. They have found that AI simply can't cope with the complex nature of customer service and totally fails at nuanced issues, escalations, and long-tail customer problems. They even say that it has caused a marked decline in service quality and far more complaints. But the problems go far deeper than that. Both employees and executives have said that the company is wasting countless resources on firefighting to stabilise operations since the mass Al layoff. Employees have to spend so much time stepping in to correct the wildly wrong Al-generated responses that Al is wasting more time than it saves. In other words, this AI reduces productivity, not increases it. But there is also a huge problem here with expertise and skill debt. On top of the firefighting to correct the AI, executives have also highlighted how they are also having to firefight to stabilise their systems from problems that were previously easily solved by staff who had the required experience and skill. However, these staff were fired in the Al layoffs. Expertise, experience and skilled employees are really hard for a company to acquire. You see, much of the expertise, experience, and skills required are unique to the company and its operations. These operations will have quirks, common problems, and unique issues that even the most experienced outsider will really struggle with, but are effortless to someone with experience within the company. As such, these attributes are not only vital, but are nurtured and grown within a company, and cannot be hired in on a whim. What Salesforce has done is chuck all this experience out the window, and now they are suffering. To say this is a damning indictment on Benioff, his capabilities as a CEO, and his cult-like push for Al is an understatement. It demonstrates that he is dangerously ignorant, as it was painfully evident that this would happen; more on that in a minute. Salesforce is doing a U-turn, and is "reframing its AI strategy," shifting away from trying to replace workers, and instead doing what executives call "rebalancing." Basically, they are trying to re-hire these critical roles and expertise they have lost, take Al out of the driver's seat, and augment workers rather than replace them. More on why that is still a terrible idea in a minute.

It’s been reported locally, but I’m not sure how much national notice this has gotten. As part of this invasion by shithead goons, they are putting ICE agents in jetbridges and other parts of the airport at Minneapolis-Saint Paul. If you are flying Delta via MSP, you are putting yourself at risk.

It was not immediately clear what the immigration status of those detained was, or whether the people detained included the restaurant’s owners or only workers. An eyewitness who declined to give a name for fear of retribution, told the Minnesota Star Tribune that four ICE agents sat in a booth for a meal at El Tapatio a little before 3 p.m. Staff at the restaurant were frightened, said the eyewitness, who shared pictures from the restaurant as well as video of the arrest. The arrest happened around 8:30 p.m. near a Lutheran church and Willmar Middle School as agents followed the workers after they closed up for the night. A handful of bystanders blew whistles and shouted at agents as they detained the people. “Would your mama be proud of you right now?” one of the bystanders asked.

There were only 226 homicides in LA last year. The homicide rate of 5.9 victims per 100,000 residents marked the lowest since 1959 when it was 5.5.
