‘Medicare for All’ still big. “In a survey of 1,207 likely voters [from] Nov. 14–17, 2025, ...65% of voters [supported] a Medicare for All system, described as a ‘national health insurance program... that would cover [everyone] & replace... private health insurance...’" jacobin.com/2025/11/medi...
Medicare for All Disappeared. Its Popularity Didn’t.
The demand for Medicare for All went from the center of the discourse to political exile in record time. But the policy's popularity never faded. A new poll finds strong majority support for the neglected idea among Americans across the political spectrum.

Kinda lonely to be a writer who doesn't post that much about, y'know, writing.

I know we're all supposed to be creatures of the internet these days, constantly networking and self-promoting, but I genuinely can't be bothered. Maybe that'll change when I have something big to promote, but idk.

At this point, I wonder if he isn't lying when he says he has "my highest Poll Numbers, ever" since it's entirely possible that's what his aides are telling him. It's quite likely that there's an entire Potemkin village built around Trump right now.

People are SO BAD at factoring maintenance and insurance costs into their travel. That shit sneaks up on you fast.
i wonder how much of Americans' views on driving vs. transit would change if they had to pay for gas/insurance/etc every time they turned on the engine

"i'm not paying $5 to take the train to work twice a day when i can just drive" is a genuine opinion held by so many people

For once I wish the fascists would grow a spine and say "yes, they are hate symbols, and we allow them because we're a hate movement." Just be honest about it, you know?

But fascists are spineless by nature.

But the mechanisms you learned about them were totally gutted and changed to only amplify shit that's already popular.

It's still there! You're just mostly on your own to find it.
