🌱Today’s flower/plant photo is Blanket Flower(Gaillardia aristata), beloved by bees and a cheerful addition to the garden. An added bonus is deer don’t eat it. There is also a tray of Rock Soapwort (Saponaria ocymoides)I was in the midst of planting when this photo was taken.

The miscellaneous projects continue! Remember all those leaves I couldn’t stop picking up last fall? Most went under paper towels and books. I was surprised to see how many retained their color, so into self-laminating pouches they went! #leafpreservation #fallleaves #driedleaves 🎨🍁🌱
