I was blocked for this which makes me believe it's an effective line of thought.
lemme ask you this: if not voting helps the fascist win the election, then why is there so much disdain for the ~1-3% of the american electorate who is trans and won't vote for a transphobe, but not for the ~40% of predominantly cis white people who sit out every election?

It's so hard not to get doomerish about how the most simple ask of "civil rights should be a tent pole of democratic politics, actually" is constantly met with "but if we don't allow them to eradicate this vulnerable population they might come for me!"
Again, all I'm asking is that any Democrat who wants my vote support 1. Reverting Trump's anti-trans policies, 2. Commit to fighting against the future erosion of trans rights, and 3. Support legislation codifying trans rights into law.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

It shouldn't need to be said, but if we apportioned human rights to a demographic based on the number of them who have done mass shootings, all straight white men should be in prison, but, of course, straight white men are never judged in that way, only minorities are. It's ridiculous.
