In what is believed to be the first criminal case of its kind in the post–Roe v. Wade era, a New York-based telemedicine provider has been indicted in Louisiana—which has one of the strictest abortion bans in the country—for supplying the abortion pill to a teenage patient in that state.
Louisiana indicts NY doctor for telemedicine abortion
It's the first known criminal charge against a physician under a state's shield laws.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.

Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.

But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.

They aren’t firing for a reason.

70% of the world’s population has universal healthcare, but not the US

We are the only highly developed nation without it

Our healthcare is twice as expensive as the average wealthy nation

US ranks last among industrial nations for deaths that could be prevented with timely access to healthcare

House republicans have revised HR 9495 which would give the president the ability to shut down any non-profit as "t€rr@r!st" without proof. If you disagree with this bill, and you're represented by one of these Democrats, call them and tell them to vote NO. (202) 224-3121

Considering any micro-level lessons I can draw from the macro-level examples to better prepare myself for what's coming politically & economically in the USA. 👇
