October is #DysautonomiaAwarenessMonth

For many with #LongCovid, dysautonomia means daily struggles with dizziness, palpitations, fatigue & more

We need research, support & compassion
Let’s #MakeNoiseForTurquoise this October

#POTS #Dysautonomia #invisibleillness
Turquoise background with overlapping blue circles. In the centre, a simple illustration of a person with turquoise hair. Text around the person reads: “Dysautonomia Awareness Month.” Circles highlight symptoms: gastrointestinal issues, PoTS, heart palpitations, fatigue, shortness of breath, dizziness, cognitive issues, temperature dysregulation. Fainter circles in the background say and many many many more Long Covid SOS logo at the bottom left in white

It’s a "crisis" when immigrants "take jobs away", but "innovation" when machines do. Funny.

I don't know why this revelation only occurred to me yesterday after YEARS of querying, but I sent a script to a producer yesterday and ended it with: "When should I check in with you next?" And then I received an answer. So simple! Communication! Who knew! #ScriptSky

CHATGPT: I understand where you're coming from. You worked really hard to get here, and now it's time to enjoy the fruit of your labors.

ISILDUR: So I should keep it? Elrond says I shouldn't

CHATGPT: The ring is precious. Sometimes friends don't have your best interests at heart.

I disagree. Complications *even when characters act smart* are much more interesting.

We Have at least 70? years of science fiction exploring this proposition and all reaching the same conclusions as Josie.

Which I only bring up because everyone involved in this AI thing is a science fiction fan, but not one who understands what they read.

It is morally wrong to want a computer to be sentient. If you owned a sentient thing, you would be a slaver. If you want sentient computers to exist, you just want to create a new kind of slavery. The ethics are as simple as that. Sorry if this offends

Got my car’s oil changed this morning, and overheard the manager explaining to another customer complaining about the price that oil filters and other supplies are made in Vietnam, so they’re more expected due to tariffs! How could that NOT lead to price increases?
