Specifically, watch for people to point to some of the very posts on this platform, and to public statements calling the ICE agent a murderer, to claim they are incitement or stochastic terrorism and outside First Amendment protection and advocate prosecution
Escalation to watch for: civil and criminal threats against people calling the ICE murder a murder, especially state and local officials and members of Congress. The regime must constantly escalate.

Either you don't really believe he's guilty in which case you're both an idiot and a cynical bastard for indulging the accusation, or you think it's a reasonable outcome to have a literal child rapist as our head of state until 2029, which makes you a sociopath.

An unprecedented violation of our civic and Constitutional traditions. Calling every military leader in the world back to the U.S. to hear a wildly inappropriate partisan campaign speech followed by a fascist call to use the military against Americans.

me last week:

“There was, and is, no external crisis facing the United States. But for reasons of both personality and political ambition, Trump needs a crisis to govern — or rather, to rule. And if the actual conditions of reality will not give him a state of exception, he’ll create one himself.”
FLAG: Trump says he might declare a national emergency to keep National Guard troops in D.C.

"If I have a national emergency, I can keep the troops there as long as I want."

Conservatives who claimed Obama was using FEMA to build concentration camps really quiet now that it’s real
FEMA is preparing to send $608 million to states to construct immigrant detention centers as part of the Trump administration’s push to expand capacity to hold migrants.

Note that the administration’s claim of a 700% increase in assaults on ICE agents is likely made up mostly of incidents like this: claims that a 71-year-old citizen “pushed” a masked armed agent.

Trumpism is committed to destroying the sources of American wealth and innovation (universities, scientific research, immigration, health care, free trade) because wealthy and innovative societies reject the backward cultures of social, intellectual, and spiritual poverty Trumpism seeks to elevate.

Even the well-meaning tariffs progressives want are simply demanding your fellow Americans pay more for goods in order to support you or your favored industry. And they're demands that hit the poorest Americans the hardest. It's privileging your wants and needs over theirs.
If it can be as readily and efficiently produced here as elsewhere, it won't need a tariff to compete with imports. The whole purpose of a tariff is to increase the price of an import so it can't compete with domestic goods that can't be as readily and efficiently produced.

There is no general crisis of masculinity. Rather, there's a particular, contingent, and not universally shared culture that claims to represent masculinity broadly, but never did, and now clearly fails to bring success or satisfaction in the modern world, and its adherents are handling that poorly.

The reason legacy media has generally been so bad at covering what Musk and Trump have done in the last few weeks is bound up in the same reason why they fall all over themselves to participate in the unseemly White House Correspondents' dinner: The legacy press worships executive power.
