It takes enabling infrastructure to induce the demand you see at this hour.
Cycling home at midnight. Definitely not the only one riding a bike at this hour.

We Think We Love Driving (But We Don’t)
Studies show we overestimate how much we enjoy driving. In truth, most of us would prefer to use that time for something else.

All right I had to leave Twitter, at least for awhile. They ruined DM’s, can’t see messages from the last week but suddenly new ones appear.

The Kash Patel hearing is a unique opportunity to grill him on stuff but it feels like every other question from Democrats is about January 6. Maybe focus on something else?

Columbus, OH (pop: 913,000): 0 trains per day

I think US cities should have a lot more rail service.

One mile on a bike is a $.42 economic gain to society, one mile driving is a $.20 loss
Copenhagen, the bicycle-friendliest place on the planet, publishes a biannual Bicycle Account, and buried in its pages is a rather astonishing fact.

Congestion pricing works.
“MTA Chair Janno Lieber said the reduction in traffic has allowed some of the agency’s buses to move faster than their schedules account for. Lieber said he’s considering boosting bus service as a result.”

We paid a significant amount for two e-cargo bikes to replace car trips for local errands. These bikes cover over 90% of our needs, reducing pollution and infrastructure wear. Yet, clean vehicle tax credits bypass options like ours, favoring the auto industry and car ownership instead.
