This program changed my life. I was fortunate enough to have my loans forgiven in January, right before Trump took office. I encourage everyone to submit a comment in support of the PSLF program.
The Dept of Education is now accepting comments on a proposed rule that would overhaul Public Service Loan Forgiveness, and make it too expensive for students to go into work that threatens the Trump administration

The Trump admin is fast-tracking a uranium mine in Utah by slashing the permitting process to 14 days, bypassing environmental review and cutting the public out entirely. Projects like this are supposed to go through NEPA, the law that requires environmental impact assessments and public comment.

This is a freaking mess. The regional climate centers are incredibly vital in helping communities use weather and climate data for so many specific regional needs.
Oh no! Several of the Regional Climate Centers have had their funding lapse through DOC/NOAA. These institutes are critical for connecting weather and climate data and services to local communities across the United States.
