All they really have is name-calling. It’s pretty much all MAGA has to offer.
It is Mamdani’s embrace of New York’s immigrants and his own Muslim upbringing that most of the MAGAsphere fixated on, calling him everything from a “a third-world communist” to a “Marxist” and “a jihadi.”

Mamdani was voted for by more people in this one election than voted for Kristi Noem in all of her elections combined (SD state rep two terms, US rep three terms, and two terms as SD governor)
Mamdani has now gotten more votes than 1/4 of the members of the United States Senate did when they got elected. The political power being channeled here is immense.

This professor has never posted Mamdani, Spanberger, or even used the word election in a post to refer to this one before today. I diagnose him with the most common disease of the academic: talking out of his ass on a topic he has no actual credentials in or special insight regarding with authority.
Btw, the press obsessing about Mamdani seems weird. He seriously underperformed the Democratic vote in NYC compared to recent elections, barely scraping 50%. Moderate Democrats in VA and NJ dramatically overperformed. That seems the real story

YES! Anthropology.
Young people don't need more "Religious Education" to live in modern world.
If it's inclusion/social cohesion govt is aiming for, then a better approach would be to drop RE, and create new subject Anthropology, on critical thinking, philosophy & belief systems.

A great day for the golden rule of political analysis: when the right wins it is a resounding ideological victory that humiliates the left and when the left wins it is a precarious fluke that will surely end up humiliating the left. Conservatives are power’s landlords and the left merely tenants

ah, perhaps instead of pumping millions into endless factional infighting Dem donors could invest in making local Dem organizations genuine civic spaces that can reach people during and between elections

People are not ready for the nick Fuentes era of the Republican Party.

Nick and the Nazis he had been grooming for years are about to become some of the loudest and most dangerous voices in the world and they will have the presidents ear.

The Republican Party is a Nazi party.
Ben Shapiro was just ratioed by Nick Fuentes on X after Shapiro called out Tucker Carlson and Fuentes for their antisemitism.

The neo nazi right is fully taking over the republican party.

NEW: Footage of a US citizen in Chicago being rammed then dragged from her car on her way to work.

Abducted, with no warrant, her family couldn’t find her for hours.

She was later released with NO CHARGE.

A DHS statement said she “violently resisted arrest, injuring two officers”.

billionaires have invested in media not because they support journalism but because they want to control it. there is only downside to a free press for people with that level of wealth. journalism is a great equalizer and they don’t want us to be equal.

So CBS settled Trump's lawsuit where he frivolously sued because they edited Kamala Harris's interview so it would fit into their air time.

Then CBS does a 73 minute interview of Trump where they made big edits from the version that was broadcast.

They aired 28 of 73 minutes.
