Looks like things will be getting worse from this point forward until there’s a regime change here.
Not sure how they got dragged into the discussion-probably some Repuke politician-but there are more homicides in Alabama in total and definitely per capita than NYC and NYC has more people than Alabama. But yeah, NYC is a hellhole. Top 10 homicide rates are all in red states.
A remarkable trend that will come as a shock to you if your only info about NYC is from this Fox News.

Thing is, he never was trying to ‘be popular’ or ‘do politics’ beyond appealing to his base, that’s still happening. He never actually cared about them but he still desires their worship, the only reason he’s still doing the occasional pep rally like Pennsylvania the other day.
