This is so real, they tried it this morning in Bloomington. They stopped a man, people started honking horns, they split up to fuck with everyone else, which brought more attention and more noise, people got out of their cars and started filming, they left. They're cowards.
obviously not in the sense that it’s stopping everything, but they are being stalled so much by trying to find places where they aren’t watched, wasting so much manpower and resources on crowd control and even arresting observers they know will just get released. i am so proud of everyone

The fact that all these second amendment "we need ahr guns to resist guvment overreach" losers are now cheering on ICE versus citizens who are standing up to the government (with NO weapons) tells you everything you need to know about the hollowness of their ideology. Sad little scared boys.

They won't have the numbers to occupy the nation and force everyone to comply, and that's why they're engaged in such an aggressive show of force. They're hoping we all get cowed into submission and do their work of suppression ourselves.

Once again, no.

The mantra remains "fuck you, make me."

So I am learning! For its first decade, the Whipple Building was just the Fort Snelling Federal Building. One of the last things Walter Mondale did as vice president was orchestrate the renaming for Bishop Henry Whipple

Fox and Friends Weekend was on in the Days Inn Gettysburg breakfast room this morning and as there was some Venezuela/oil talk, Rachel Campos-Duffy said (paraphrased): "It's kind of refreshing that this time they're openly saying it IS about the oil"

The appropriate time is now
"The Democrats’ plan: TBD. There has been a lot of rhetoric, but ... the caucus is largely shying away from using its leverage in the appropriations process and threatening another government shutdown."

Sad that they don’t accept her even after she voted to “express gratitude to ICE.”
Rep. Angie Craig: "We were told because this facility is being funding by the 'Big Beautiful Bill,' not the congressional appropriations act, that we would not be allowed to enter the facility. That's complete nonsense ... I informed them they were violating the law. They said they didn't care."

I'm out of town, but there's ICE activity in our neighborhood in Columbia Heights this morning.

Not good
The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says they've been informed by the FBI that US DOJ has said FBI will solely lead the investigation into Renee Nicole Good's killing by a federal officer. State investigators no longer have access to "case materials, scene evidence/investigative interviews"

I ask this every now and then and I’ve yet to get a good answer.

How long does it take for people to realize they’re on the wrong side of history?

The only police officer shooting Republicans won’t reflexively defend is one that involved a woman who broke through police barricades and stormed the US Capitol with a huge mob ranting and raving to forcibly overturn a lawful presidential election.

Some signs that a nation has gone rogue:

1. Withdrawing from financial support commitments to ally nations.
2. Threatening ally nations with invasion.
3. Invading other nations under thin pretense and stealing their resources.
4. Withdrawing from treaties of international cooperation.
