Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons:

-We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S.

-The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous.

Pretty damn good framing for Dems
How much Elon Musk makes from the government a day: $8 million.

How much a senior on Social Security gets a day: $65

Guess which budget Musk and Trump want to cut?

This #BlackHistoryMonth, to start, we celebrate the legendary writer and inspiring Californian,

Octavia Estelle Butler,

unquestionably one of the greatest Sci-Fi writers of all time... and perhaps all space.

Earthseed is the way.

In 1363 a medieval monk named Henry Knighton wrote about a common problem: "wherever and wherever [jousting] tournaments are held, a troupe of ladies would turn up dressed in a variety of male clothing and mounted on chargers, sometimes 40 or 50 of them". I ask you, where is the Netflix series?
