Here is another watercolour drawing done on location in Winchester. This shows Dean Garnier's Garden which lies on the site of what was once the monk’s dormitory of the Benedictine Monastery. I still have the original of this tucked away somewhere.

M31 is our neighbor in the ocean of the universe. I recently showed that my telescope can detect individual stars 2.5Mio LY away. Imaging the entire galaxy with the same telescope is more difficult. This #astrophotography with my #CelestonOrigin is a mosaic from 6 images, each 1h of exposure time.

The secret lore of book and toy shop owners holds that it is good to have a "Hollywood snow" in early November so that people's Gift Brains turn on, and they start shopping.

This year... we're just going to enjoy the flurries around our icicles, and do whatever we can to reduce others' stress. ❄️📚❤️
A window next to a piano and a bookcase of comic trades. Evening has darkened the sky, and the lights of nearby buildings make some truly terrifying icicles glisten - these things are three feet long in places - that's a meter to everyone else. Unsurprisingly, there are no cats sitting on the orange plush cushion next to the window. It's cold and dark!
