Quite a lot can be explained by the plain fact that our leaders and their hangers on are *enraged* that they can’t send people to prison for doing things that aren’t illegal, and they see this as a very serious problem that needs to be resolved, urgently.

Might be a day late, but this just came up. The 'Classic' Steeleye line-up from the late 70s. Maddie's voice just gives me the chills, in a good way.

Also, the first UK Singles Chart hit fully in Latin.

We said goodbye to my late father-in-law's ashes today, 14 years on, committed to the sea.

A county-level detective chief inspector for traffic police, he loved his grandkids.

I don't think anyone minded that we hopped a barrier to the end of the outflow pier.

Apollo 13 is on and that's it, we're watching that!

We lost Jim Lovell this year. I read his book that the film is based on - so much more detailed than the film, but this captures the spirit of the endeavour.

We are made for big things, to dream big dreams.

Family dramas communicate unmet needs. So I'm told.

Usually the unmet need is cutting off the alcohol.

Brain wiring: It took a while to wind down from cooking yesterday. But I was aware of it and understood why, finally.

I accepted plaudits from others without being overly self-critical. I was OK with minor timeline adjustments. I accepted help when it was offered and needed.

Excellent Xmas meal.

Funny how the fake genocide meant to spread Islamophobia, demonize and break Africa, and deflect from Gaza gets air strikes, while the actual one in Sudan is being actively ignored.

Reminder: I am from the US, which specifically passed a law to protect against UK defamation judgements, which this crowd of raging bigots abuse horribly thanks to funding from the money Head Bigot JK Rowling earns from Harry Potter franchise revenue to file bullshit lawsuits as financial terrorism

The lessons to take from this:

1) If you're in the US, leverage that legal protection to say these things for your UK friends who can't!

2) Stop fucking giving Head Bigot JK Rowling money to finance legal terrorism against people who identify raging bigots as raging bigots.

This is because for every dollar you spend on Harry Potter media or merchandise, a large portion of it goes to Head Bigot JK Rowling, who specifically uses that money to finance her fellow raging bigots threatening ruinous lawsuits against UK people who point out their raging bigotry.

And Tiny Tim, who would not die:

All who dare to cross his course
Are swallowed by a fearsome force
Through the void
To be destroyed
Or is there something more
Atomized
At the core
Or through the astral door
To soar ...
And Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, has esprit up to here and is preparing to carry out his third mission of the night. He is zeroing in on his home base, CosaNostra Pizza #3569, cranking up the left lane of CSV-5 at a hundred and twenty kilometers. His car is an invisible black lozenge, just a dark plac
And Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, entered another dimension. A dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination. Next stop, the Twilight Zone!
