Mily Possoz (1888 – 1968) was a Portuguese artist of Belgian origin.
She was one of the most prominent figures of the first generation of Portuguese modernist artists.
She clearly loved cats, so here are some gatinhos for today's #caturday

For #invertefest, some recent creature spotting done at the Oregon coast! The nudibranch was a goal of mine for sure and I ended up seeing 3 species - more will come tomorrow!

I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️‍🌈💖

In the Spring of 1864 Twain, while working as a beat reporter for the SF Morning Call, Twain witnessed the murder of a Chinese laborer by a mob that included cops.

It radicalized him. He wrote it up, one of the first things he ever authored which he thought deserved to be called “literature”…
