This is essential: a democracy *must* know who is paying its politicians and where that money is coming from.

Cryptocurrency is *designed* to make that impossible.

The whole point is to lift payments outside the scrutiny of the state.

Something that needs to be elevated is that ICE agents have been instructed to threaten and illegally detain legal observers. It's a criminal conspiracy to deprive Americans of their 1st & 4th amendment rights.

Renee Good isn't the only victim ICE has targeted and won't be the last.
I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.

This has got to be done - it mustn’t just be threats anymore- restricting Grok to paying customers is wholly inadequate and will still not protect women and children who use X from having their images manipulated and disseminated

I have not personally used X/Twitter for some time now. It was already an unpleasant place prior to its takeover by Elon Musk but since his acceptance of hate speech and anonymous online abusers, it has become utterly unusable.
